Growing Through Art - with Limoncito Goods

 Join us for a session of mindful art led by Michelle Fernandez our student intern and owner of Limoncito Goods.    Michelle is a third-year mental health counseling student at Wake Forest University passionate about peripartum mental health and exploring how art can help us process and heal.    This art session will center our birthing experiences and help guide us through a tangible way of processing the shift in identity that occurs at birth.   Join In this 90 minute session held at Noda Brewing, we will be creating a vessel from Jesmonite, which is a two-part water and mineral-based medium.    Participants will then sand and seal their vessels and will be provided with plants to plant in their new pots, which they will take home after the session.    We are limiting participation due to COVID and space, and there will be a $25 material fee per person.    We hope to see you there for a few hours of hands-on art and sharing.
